Midnight the cat got very attached to the tree this year. He was not happy when we tore it down yesterday. When the tree was up, it served as home and hide-away. He could be found either sleeping underneath, among the presents or using it to hide in an attempt to pounce on Jake the dog. Sadly enough, while the tree was being carried back up to the attic, Midnight followed behind us, up to the attic to make sure the tree was safely tucked away until next year.
